This sterling silver ring features a 4mm Sapphire set in a handcrafted four prong setting. This ring was forged and crafted by Jeweler and Stone Setter Marty Vickery at Stones & Fire.
Sapphire is an Oxide Mineral and averages a 9.0 on the Mohs hardness scale (which makes Sapphire a very good gemstone for daily wear. A 9 on the mohs scale is close, but not equal, to a diamond which ranks a 10)
Sapphire is the Birthstone for the month of September.
The stone featured in this birthstone ring is a genuine Sapphire with heat treatment.
